Why this source is used

The flag's designer Michael Page's own archived BiFlag.com page: he created the 1998 flag as a volunteer for BiNet USA, unveiled it on 5 December 1998 at the BiCafe first-anniversary party, based the colours on Liz Nania's 1987 'biangles', and released it for free public use. Pink = attraction to the same sex, blue = attraction to a different sex, purple = the blend/overlap of both.
